Matthew Ball: The Boogie Woogie Kid

The Frankfort Community Public Library is excited to host the last concert of the 2024 season. Matthew Ball, aka The Boogie Woogie Kid, will perform in the Skanta Theatre Saturday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

After attending a hometown boogie-woogie festival, Ball was so awestruck by the performances that he left his career as an attorney to become a blues and boogie-woogie performing artist. With a lot of hard work and effort, he is now an internationally recognized practitioner, and his performances have spanned 12 states.

Let this piano virtuoso dazzle you with a repertoire spanning the 1920s, 30s, and 40s that is appropriate for all ages. Tickets are $12 each and can be purchased at the Frankfort Library circulation desk with cash, check, or credit card. Tickets may also be reserved over the phone with a credit card.
