Welcome home! A drive or stroll down Clinton Street, in the County Seat Frankfort, you will find an array of beautiful Victorian era homes that offer both charm and color. The complete street initiative is opened pace for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic. If walking is a part of your daily routine, you will love the Farm Heritage trail, in Colfax, IN. It is just a couple miles west of US 52, in the southwest region of Clinton County. Drive a few miles due east of Colfax and you will find the charming community of Kirklin.

Sitting on Old Michigan Road, the second oldest federal highway in the Midwest, Kirklin shines with its beautiful downtown and single-family homes throughout the town. Towns of Clinton County

Michigantown is a town in the Michigan Township in Clinton County, Indiana. It has a population of over 400. The town was named for the Michigan Road, an early thoroughfare through the area. Michigantown was incorporated in the early 1870s. It has many up-and-coming restaurants and businesses, locally owned along the main strip. Clinton County School Corporation resides outside of the town. You can find a wonderful pawpark within the town limits! In 2008, a new building with barn-like interior design was built just south of the town and renamed the Michigan Road Library.
Established in 1837, Kirklin prides itself on being a community-oriented source of commerce that has a strong sense of history. Our public library, built in 1915 has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places, and serves as a resource for the residents of Kirklin and Kirklin Township. It has a population of 766. You can count on finding your everyday antique needs in the town, along with many festivals for you and the family. Kirklin Town Hall has everything you need when it comes to renting items for your next event. Right outside of the town limits you will also find the Clinton Central School Corporation.
Colfax is a town in the Perry Township, in Clinton County, Indiana. The population is 768. The town was originally known as Midway since it’s the half-way point on the IC&L Railroad between Chicago and Louisville. The town was renamed to honor Vice President Schuyler Colfax in 1857. Colfax hosts the Ole Hickory Days Festival every August, you can experience a world wind of fun and activities during the event. Just outside of the Colfax town limits you will find the Clinton Prairie School Corporation. The Colfax-Perry Township Public Library is located in the middle of the town and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
Rossville is a rural community with a population of 1,653. Located at the intersection of State Roads 26 and 39 in the northwest corner of Clinton County. The Town is within short driving distances of Lafayette, Frankfort, Delphi, Kokomo, and Indianapolis, which allows area residents easy access to employment, entertainment, education, and health care services. Each year Rossville celebrates the end of Summer with a festival. In December 1984, it joined the Michigantown and Mulberry Libraries as a part of the Clinton County Contractual Library. Rossville Consolidated Schools reside in the town. It takes place the fourth full weekend in August. “Rossville is a place where you feel at home.”
The Town of Mulberry is located in Clinton County, Indiana. It has a population of over 1,300 and was named from a mulberry tree, which grew at the point where it was founded. The town features fire and police services, a park with recreational facilities, a library, a telecommunications company, and a senior retirement center. A new and improved pickle ball court; you can borrow a net from the Town of Mulberry. The town council has the responsibility to make decisions regarding fiscal policy and funding matters. Council members serve to better the community and provide leadership in the community.
Frankfort is the county seat of Clinton County. The population is over 16,662. Brothers John, William and Nicholas Pence, settled on the land on which Frankfort now stands in 1829, having entered it from the government in 1827 and 1828. The city was named Frankfort at the brothers' request and honors their German great-grandparents' home of Frankfurt am Main. The city of Frankfort hosts many events and festivals for the county. You can find everything and anything in and outside the city limits. Community Schools of Frankfort reside in the city, with multiple elementary schools to choose from. The Clinton County courthouse resides in downtown Frankfort. It is the home of the Frankfort Community Public Library system.
